Each day the crew will record Hilary’s finishing latitude & longitude from her GPS, so they can tow Hilary back to accurately the identical point the next boating day. Hilary is anticipating the sail will take three to four months. it will involve venturing both into the Irish Sea & the North Sea, as well as the English Canal. Hilary’s route will take her through the Caledonian Channel.

Hilary’s progress perhaps tracked from her website & updates on her route & itinerary will be posted on regular basis.

Having famously entered the record books in July ‘05, when she became the 1st at all quadriplegic to sail solo across the English Canal, Hilary in the beginning planned to take on the round United Kingdom challenge in ‘07, but combination of technical & other issues prevented her from doing so.
